Introducing a reimagined hybrid event experience
Last staged in 2019 before live events ground to a halt, Asian Private Banker is looking forward to reuniting in-person with our community of private bankers, IAM/EAMs and wealth managers for the industry’s most popular networking and idea gathering event. Since joining UBS in 1995, she has held a number of senior management positions including Regional Head of Ultra High Net Worth and Global Family Office in Asia.

Arnaud Tellier is CEO, Asia Pacific at BNP Paribas Wealth Management and leads a regional team of over 1,100 private banking professionals across key markets in Asia.
In his role, Arnaud defines the strategic direction of the business while overseeing its day-to-day management. Arnaud is passionate about the business; his hands-on approach ensures clients and their families can better navigate ever changing markets in Asia, and across the world.
Arnaud brings a multi disciplinary approach to serving BNP Paribas’ private banking clients, with a background in capital markets and corporate and investment banking. A Finance graduate of the French Business School, Arnaud is fluent in Spanish, French and English. A family person at heart; he is also an avid sports enthusiast and participates in triathlons with his son.
David Shick is Head Private Banking Greater China and Branch Manager Hong Kong at Bank Julius Baer, which he joined in 2016. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for expanding the Bank’s business presence and client base in the region.
Diana Robinson is Managing Director and Head of Investments and Advice at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Asia. She leads a team in delivering portfolio management and advisory services for clients with assets across equities, fixed income and alternative investments.
Ms. Robinson was recently recognized as a leading banker in the region. She was named Female Private Banker of the Year for APAC by The Digital Banker.
Before holding a similar role in Southeast Asia, Ms. Robinson managed the Equities team based in London. This team comprises professionals who advise clients on the outlook for equity markets globally as well as being responsible for equity trading, syndicate, structured products and mutual funds.
In addition, she is a certified Business Coach with a focus on women in finance. Ms. Robinson has spent the first part of her career working in New York, the second part working in London, and is delighted to have the opportunity to spend the third part in Asia.
Fong Seng is a private-banking veteran with in-depth knowledge of the wealth management business across Asia. Before joining Pictet, he was Chairman of EFG Bank’s Asia Advisory Board and a member of its Global Board. He spent most of his career with Credit Suisse as Vice Chairman for Asia, CEO Hong Kong Branch and Head of Private Banking Singapore; and at UBS, where he was Head of Wealth Management South East Asia and Deputy Branch Manager for UBS Singapore.

Vincent holds an MBA jointly conferred by Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and HKUST Business School and a BBA (Hons) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Catherine Yeung is an Investment Director for Fidelity International. Based in Hong Kong, she works within the investment team and with Fidelity’s Equity Portfolio Managers. She is responsible for product management and communication of the firm’s Asia Pacific ex-Japan equity investment capabilities across all client channels and geographies. Catherine is a regular market commentator and appears on various international broadcasters such as Bloomberg, CNBC, BBC, Sky News Australia, BNN Canada, Channel News Asia, TV Monde, Deutsche Welle and Sweden’s DiTV.
Catherine joined Fidelity in 2006 and has accumulated over 23 years of experience working in the investment industry. Prior to joining Fidelity, Ms Yeung spent five years at BT Financial Group in Sydney, Australia, where she was the Assistant Portfolio Manager for three years, managing BT’s Diversified Funds.
During 1995 to 1999, Catherine was a Futures Broker at Bankers Trust Australia and United Capital Securities in Sydney, Australia, where she was responsible for broking 3 and 10-year bond futures. She also spent two years working in the media industry, which included some world-class companies, such as Reuters.
Catherine holds a Master of Commerce degree and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney, Australia and holds an Investment Management Certificate.

As Global Head of Real Estate and Head of the Americas for Nuveen Real Estate, Chris is responsible for all real estate investment operations. Since 1999, his experience has focused on real estate acquisition, management and finance. He chairs the firm’s Global Executive Leadership Team, which oversees global strategic initiatives.
Prior to his current role, Chris served as the portfolio manager for the real property and commercial mortgage allocation of TIAA’s General Account and previously served as lead portfolio manager for TIAA’s direct real estate strategies. Prior to that, he was a director of real estate acquisition for the Western region of the U.S. and also worked in the mortgage division. He joined TIAA in 2001 having previously worked at Codina Development Corporation and The Related Group of Florida.

Upon joining EFG in 2021, Edmund has led the Product Advisory team to provide multi asset-class investment solution offerings for a diverse range of products including equities, bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds, & structured products as well as managing the Hong Kong based Investment Counsellor teams to offer investment advisory services to CROs and key clients.
Prior to joining EFG, he was with Credit Agricole Indosuez and Credit Industriel et Commercial, also heading up the investment Solutions team. Earlier in his career, he has accumulated more than 18 years of Products advisory and Investment Management experiences in BNP, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Bank of Montreal.

EFG Bank AG is part of EFG International, a global private banking group that is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Gabriel is Managing Director and Head of Investment Services, Hong Kong. He leads the Hong Kong based Investment Services teams to deliver an efficient and reputable advisory and dealing platform to recommend, distribute and execute investment products such as equity, bonds, forex, mutual funds, structured products, etc.
Gabriel has over 18 years of experience in equity research. Previously, he was the Head of Equity Research, APAC of BNP Paribas Securities Asia. He worked in a number of global financial institutions, including Credit Suisse, CLSA and Standard & Poor's.
Gabriel holds both Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Economics from the Queen's University, Canada, and he is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Before moving to Asia, Mr. Tschiderer was a commodity portfolio manager in the THEAM Commodities team in Paris, France and has been involved in the development and management of commodity investment solutions since 2007.
Prior to fund management, Günter drove the development and marketing of BNP Paribas Asset Management’s innovative structured and commodity products range in his role as an investment specialist.
Günter entered investment management through positions in International Marketing and Institutional Client Services with BNP Paribas Asset Management. Before joining BNP Paribas in 2002, Mr. Tschiderer successfully marketed a software development platform for Microsoft.
Günter is a CFA charter holder and holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from the University of Innsbruck, Austria and a diploma in Management from the Grenoble School of Management, France. In addition to German, his native language, he is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
A recognized contributor to the industry news media, Günter frequently comments on Smart Beta, commodity markets and related economic issues.

Henry Chui is a Managing Director and Head of Private Wealth for Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong where he leads the build out of all wealth distribution channels across Asia Pacific to deliver investment solutions for clients.
Henry joined Nuveen in 2020 and prior to this, he was a Senior Vice President and Head of Private Banking for North Asia at PIMCO where he was a key member of the build out of the region's wealth management business, which became one of the largest business lines for Asia Pacific, and led a team of client facing professionals to cover the largest private banks in the region. During his time at PIMCO, Henry also co-chaired the Asia products working group, the new vehicle working group, and led the associate promotion committee. Prior to PIMCO, he has worked at Invesco and Schroders also covering wealth management clients and entered the industry in 2007.

Jeremy Sutch is a Portfolio Manager at Matthews Asia and co-manages the firm’s Emerging Markets Small Companies and Asia Small Companies Strategies. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, he was Director and Global Head of Emerging Companies at Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong from 2012 to 2015, responsible for the fundamental analysis of companies in Asia, with a particular focus on small- and mid-capitalization companies. From 2009 to 2012, he was Managing Director at MJP Capital in Hong Kong, which he co-founded. He has 26 years of investment experience, including managing small-cap equities at Indus Capital Advisors and serving as Head of Hong Kong Research for ABN AMRO Asia Securities. Jeremy earned an M.A. in French and History from the University of Edinburgh.

Louise is the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Funds Management for Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. She sits on the Asia Pacific Real Estate Leadership team and is Chair of the Investment Committee. As a senior leader within the business and member of the Global Executive Leadership team, the role involves full participation in assisting with the running and development of the business including setting appropriate strategies for growth and performance to play a key role in shaping the broader business strategy. Louise joined the firm in 2017 from Invesco Real Estate having been the fund manager for the Invesco Real Estate Asia Strategy since its inception.
Prior to joining Invesco Real Estate, she was a director at Deutsche Bank, RREEF Real Estate Asia Pacific. In her role as head of acquisitions and asset management for Asia Pacific, Louise was responsible for origination, due diligence and monitoring investments across the identified regional markets. Prior to this, she held a number of roles at Investa Property Group, Colonial First State Property and Royal Sun Alliance in Australia and Hong Kong.
Louise graduated with a Bachelor’s of Commerce in Land Economy from University of Western Sydney and has a Graduate diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. She serves as a Global Governing Trustee for the Urban Land Institute (ULI), responsible for representing and serving as the voice of the broad and diverse membership in substantive matters facing ULI in the execution of its mission. Louise is also a committee member of LEAD (Leadership, Education, Advocacy and Development) a Nuveen industry affinity organization leading the dialogue on gender diversity. Awards include being named as one of Globe St’s Women of Influence in 2021.
Paul joined BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) in 2008 and has more than thirteen years of experience in the asset management industry. In his current role, he leads BNPP AM’s stewardship activities in Asia Pacific. This includes direct corporate engagement and proxy voting, working with policymakers on key issues relating to sustainable finance and investment, and representing BNPP AM in key investor ESG networks.
Paul works closely with Asian investment team to better integrate ESG criteria in investment decisions, including through engagement with portfolio companies. He is the co-chair of the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) Engagement & Policy working group. Prior to that, Paul held various positions within BNPP AM in Hong Kong and Paris. As ESG Specialist, he successfully established our Sustainability Centre’s presence in Asia. Before that, he was a senior investment specialist within our Fundamental Active Equities teams. Paul was also responsible for consultant relations in Asia, and launched and managed the award-winning BNPP AM Investment Academy in the region. Before relocating to Hong Kong, he worked as an ESG analyst in the Sustainability Research team in Paris. Paul holds a Master’s in Management with a major in Entrepreneurship from the EDHEC Business School in France. He is a SASB FSA (Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting) Certificate holder. Paul is based in Hong Kong.
Philip Gorham, CFA, FRM, is director of equity research for Ibbotson Associates Japan, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. He covers the European consumer staples sector, spanning beverages, tobacco, food, and home and personal-care products.
Gorham rejoined Morningstar in 2014 after serving as an equity analyst and associate director of equity research for the consumer staples sector from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he was an equity analyst for Federated Investors, covering the consumer sector for the firm’s global core equity and mid-cap growth funds. Previously, he was a market risk analyst for the Royal Bank of Scotland in the United Kingdom.
Gorham holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Sunderland and master’s degrees in business administration and accounting from the University of North Carolina. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Financial Risk Manager® designations. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

Sebastien is an investment specialist, based in Hong Kong, responsible for driving Newton’s (a BNY Mellon Investment Management firm) relationships in the Asia Pacific region. He joined in 2007 as a member of the international business development team where he successfully developed global (ex-US) relationships. He has experience working with both institutional and intermediary clients across multiple jurisdictions including Europe and the Middle-East and covering a wide range of investment strategies.

Shawn serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Funds Management for Nuveen Real Estate’s ~$90 billion Americas platform. He leads a team of seasoned portfolio managers in driving investment performance and partnering with our clients on their current and prospective real estate investments. In addition, as Chief Investment Officer, Americas Shawn oversees the end-to end investment process. He is a member of the Global Executive Leadership Team and Americas Investment Committee.
Shibo Wang is Associate Portfolio Manager with Allianz Global Investors. As a member of the Thematic Equity team, he manages China-related thematic equity portfolios and sponsors investment ideas from China and other Asian markets to global thematic portfolios. Now based in Hong Kong since 2019, Shibo joined Allianz Global Investors in Frankfurt in 2017 from Société Générale in Paris. Previously, he worked at HSBC in Paris and Bloomberg New Energy Finance in Beijing.

Stuart Rumble is an Investment Director at Fidelity. He is primarily responsible for providing strategic investment advice and multi asset portfolio solutions to retail and institutional clients in Asia. This includes representing Fidelity’s range of Multi Asset funds, incorporating FF Global Multi Asset Income, FF Asia Pacific Multi Asset Growth and Income and FF Greater China Multi Asset Growth and Income.
Tessa Wong is a Hong Kong-based product specialist with Allianz Global Investors. She joined the firm in 2017 and specializes in Greater China equity and Asian income strategies. During the past four years she successfully led the development of Asia and China Income franchise, and contributed significantly to the growth of China A / All China strategies. Her client coverage includes private banking, retail banking and insurance clients.
Tessa has a B.S.Sc in Economics and minor in Finance from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is also a CFA Charterholder.

Vanessa Chan is an Investment Director for Fidelity International. She works within the investment team and with Fidelity’s Fixed Income Portfolio Managers. She has a strong focus in Asian credit market and China bond market. She is also an expert in the Asian and China High Yield market. She has in-depth knowledge in Asian Fixed Income and has spent over 18 years in Asian Fixed Income market covering both sell side, buy side and rating agencies roles. Ms Chan is a regular market commentator and appears on various international and regional media.
Vanessa holds a BSc degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
